Welcome
Gressoney, or Gressoney-La-Trinite is a popular winter resort in the North-Western regions of Italy.
Gressoney is located at an altitude of 1635 meters above sea level. There is plentiful snow to go around in the winters and the slopes of the mountains make for some terrific skiing and other winter sports.
Gressoney as a town is beautiful with breathtaking vistas, gorgeous ski resorts, and some very unique architecture. The town was once inhabited by the Walser people from the Valais. These people left behind a very signature architecture style which consists of wood and stone buildings sitting atop stone mushroom shaped pillars.
Gressoney is a heaven for ski enthusiasts and other vacationers. You can ski up several routs to Monte Rosa (the second highest mountain in the Alps). There are ski slopes almost 200 kms long. Besides skiing, you can also enjoy Turkish baths, spas, winter sports, soccer, tennis, and a wide range of activities. Needless to say, you will have a wonderful time at Gressoney.
